Travis d'Arnaud on Braves' bench Wednesday afternoon
Atlanta Braves catcher Travis d'Arnaud is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Paolo Espino and the Washington Nationals.
d'Arnaud will take a seat while William Contreras catches for Bryce Elder and Ronald Acuna works as the Braves' designated hitter. Robbie Grossman will cover right field while Eddie Rosario enters the lineup to play left field and bat seventh.
Contreras has a $3,000 salary on Wednesday and numberFire’s models project him for 12.6 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Braves’ implied total (5.14) is third-highest in the majors today.
