Ryan Jeffers on Twins' bench Thursday
Minnesota Twins catcher Ryan Jeffers is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Lucas Giolito and the Chicago White Sox.
Jeffers went 0-for-3 with a walk on Wednesday in his first game back from the 60-day injured list. He didn't appear to suffer a setback, but Gary Sanchez will catch for the Twins on Thursday afternoon and bat fifth.
Sanchez has a $2,200 salary on Thursday and numberFire’s models project him for 10.0 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the White Sox’s implied total is 3.64 (No. 9 in the majors today) and the game over/under is 7.5.
