Nelson Cruz (eye) remains out Friday afternoon for Nationals
Washington Nationals designated hitter Nelson Cruz (eye) remains out of the lineup on Friday afternoon in Game 1 versus left-hander Bailey Falter and the Philadelphia Phillies.
Cruz is out for a 14th consecutive game due to left eye inflammation, but the Nationals haven't placed him on the injured list. Luke Voit will work as the DH and cleanup man in the early part of Friday's twin bill.
Voit has a $2,800 salary on Friday and numberFire’s models project him for 10.7 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Nationals’ implied total (3.40) is No. 16 in the majors today.
