Leody Taveras left off Rangers' lineup again Monday
Texas Rangers outfielder Leody Taveras is not in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against right-hander Luis Severino and the New York Yankees.
Taveras is out of the lineup for a second straight game amid a tough stretch at the plate. Bubba Thompson will start in center field again and bat ninth.
Thompson has a $2,100 salary on Monday and numberFire’s models project him for 5.9 FanDuel points.
