Luis Rengifo resting Monday for Angels
Los Angeles Angels infielder Luis Rengifo is not in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against right-hander Adrian Martinez and the Oakland Athletics.
The Angels appear to be giving Rengifo the day off as they begin their final series of the season. Anthony Rendon will replace Rengifo on third base and bat fifth while Livan Soto moves into the leadoff spot.
Soto has a $2,600 salary on Monday and numberFire’s models project him for 13.3 FanDuel points. Rendon has a $2,000 salary and is projected for 10.8 FanDuel points. They are both considered top-10 point-per-dollar values among hitters on Monday's Main slate.
