Yandy Diaz (shoulder) leading off Tuesday for Rays
Tampa Bay Rays infielder Yandy Diaz (shoulder) is back in the starting lineup on Tuesday against right-hander Nathan Eovaldi and the Boston Red Sox.
Diaz, who has started just one other game since September 19 due to shoulder soreness, will play third base and lead off for the Rays on Tuesday. Isaac Paredes will shift to first base and cleanup duties while Harold Ramirez heads to the bench.
Diaz has a $2,800 salary on Tuesday and numberFire’s models project him for 12.6 FanDuel points. Paredes has a $2,700 salary and is projected for 11.8 FanDuel points. Since mid-July, Eovaldi has only managed a 16.6% strikeout rate over his last seven starts, and he's allowed 1.30 home runs per nine innings in that span.
