Adam Frazier absent for Mariners' Wednesday afternoon
Seattle Mariners second baseman/outfielder Adam Frazier is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's season finale against left-hander Tyler Alexander and the Detroit Tigers.
Frazier started the last five games, including both ends of Tuesday's doubleheader, so the Mariners are giving him an extra day of rest before they enter the postseason. Mitch Haniger will replace Frazier in right field and hit third. Luis Torrens will start on the keystone and hit fifth.
Torrens has a $2,000 salary on Wednesday and numberFire’s models project him for 8.2 FanDuel points. Haniger has a $3,100 salary and is projected for 11.1 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Mariners’ implied total is 4.05 on Wednesday.
