Wil Myers absent from Padres' Game 2 lineup Wednesday
San Diego Padres first baseman Wil Myers is not in the starting lineup for Game 2 of the NLDS on Wednesday afternoon versus right-hander Aaron Nola and the Philadelphia Phillies.
Brandon Drury will start on first base and bat fifth as Myers moves to the bench for just the second time this postseason. He has 3-for-26 (.115) with a solo homer, a walk, and 12 strikeouts so far for the Padres. Over Nola's last three outings, he has given up zero earned runs in 19 1/3 frames with 21 strikeouts.
Drury has a $3,200 salary on the Main slate Wednesday and numberFire's models project him for 8.9 FanDuel points. Nola recorded a 2.80 SIERA with a 29.1% strikeout rate and 3.6% walk rate in the regular season.
