Twins' Glen Perkins suffers a setback
Minnesota Twins pitcher Glen Perkins felt stiffness in his left shoulder while long-tossing last week and his scheduled bullpen session for Monday has been pushed back.
Perkins has already missed most of the season, and after feeling tightness in the front of his shoulder he has been shut down for the week. He just started throwing on flat ground a week ago, so it does not appear he will be making a return any time soon.
Perkins has been limited to only two appearances this season because of injury, and his streak of three straight seasons with at least 30 saves is very much in jeopardy.
