Rangers' Jacob deGrom (side) will play catch on Sunday
According to general manager Chris Young, Texas Rangers pitcher Jacob deGrom (side) will play catch on Sunday.
After the Rangers' new ace experienced left side soreness last week, deGrom has improved enough to play catch at the end of this weekend. Despite a recent change to the American League, expect the 34-year old to remain at his current average draft position in the second round in season-long fantasy leagues as long as he is healthy.
In 64.1 innings last season, deGrom accounted for a 1.53 expected Fielding Independent Pitching rating and a 42.7% K-rate.
