Jesse Winker lined up second Opening Day in Brewers debut
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Jesse Winker will be the designated hitter and bat second versus right-hander Marcus Stroman and the Chicago Cubs on Opening Day.
Winker is looking to bounce back with the Brewers after a career-worst campaign with the Seattle Mariners in 2022. Tyrone Taylor (elbow) is starting the season on the injured list. Here's the full Opening Day lineup: Christian Yelich (LF), Winker (DH), Willy Adames (SS), Rowdy Tellez (1B), William Contreras (C), Luis Urias (3B), Garrett Mitchell (CF), Brian Anderson (RF), Brice Turang (2B).
numberFire's models project Winker ($2,800) for 9.4 FanDuel points on Opening Day. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Brewers' implied total is 3.72 and the game total is 7.0.
