Jake Fraley joining Reds bench Friday afternoon
Cincinnati Reds outfielder Jake Fraley is not in the lineup versus left-hander Justin Steele and the Chicago Cubs in Friday afternoon's series opener.
The left-handed hitting Fraley will take a seat versus the Cubs' southpaw. Nick Senzel will move to left field and hit fifth while Tyler Stephenson will take over in the cleanup spot. Kevin Newman will enter the lineup to play third base and bat seventh.
Senzel has a $7,500 salary on the single-game slate and numberFire's models project him for 7.5 FanDuel points. Newman ($4,500) is projected for 6.7 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Reds have the lowest implied total in the majors on Friday at 2.92. The game total is also the lowest on the board at 6.5.
