Jake Cronenworth leading off Tuesday for San Diego
San Diego Padres infielder Jake Cronenworth is in the leadoff spot for Tuesday's series opener against right-hander Sandy Alcantara and the Miami Marlins.
Cronenworth will move into the leadoff spot for just the second time this season while Fernando Tatis Jr. slides down to the two-hole. Juan Soto (back) will return to bat third and Xander Bogaerts (wrist) will be on cleanup duty Tuesday for San Diego.
