A.J. Pollock sitting for Seattle Sunday
The Seattle Mariners did not list A.J. Pollock as a starter for Sunday's game against the Texas Rangers.
What It Means:
Pollock will take a seat Sunday while Mike Ford joins the Mariners' lineup at designated hitter and bats eighth. Teoscar Hernandez will play in right field and Jarred Kelenic will take Pollock's spot in left field.
Pollock is having a slow season at the plate, batting just .165 in his 102 plate appearances.
