Washington Nationals catcher Riley Adams is not in the lineup for Tuesday's series opener against left-hander Tommy Henry and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Adams will return to the bench after filling in at catcher last game. Keibert Ruiz will catch for Jake Irvin and hit sixth on Tuesday.
