Carson Kelly sitting for Detroit Thursday
The Detroit Tigers will not have Carson Kelly start in Thursday's game against the Oakland Athletics.
What It Means:
Kelly will take a seat on Thursday while the Tigers have Jake Rogers handle catching duties and bat ninth against the Athletics.
Kelly has not had a great year at the plate in 2023. Over 134 plate appearances, he has put up 1 home run, 10 runs, 9 RBI, and a .211 batting average. Hopefully the veteran will be able to bounce back in 2024.
