Adam Jones (back) not in the Baltimore lineup on Thursday
Baltimore Orioles center fielder Adam Jones (back) is not in the starting lineup against the New York Yankees on Thursday.
Jones left Wednesday's game in the eighth inning with back spasms, and the issue doesn't seem to be cleared up. Julio Borbon will bat ninth and get the start in center field on Thursday.
Jones has a 0.24 nERD on the season, good for 170th in the majors, and his .320 wOBA is his lowest since 2008. We project him to hit .263/.318/.449 with a .326 wOBA over the remainder of the season.
