Cubs, Yankees agree to Aroldis Chapman trade
The New York Yankees and Chicago Cubs have reached an agreement on a deal for Yankees' closer Aroldis Chapman, per FanRag Sports' Jon Heyman.
The haul for New York includes shortstop Gleyber Torres, outfielder Billy McKinney, pitcher Adam Warren and one other player who has yet to be revealed.
While Chapman's 2.14 SIERA is his highest since 2011, he's sporting a strong 36.70 percent strikeout rate and 6.70 percent walk rate, as well as a 1.28 nERD. We project his strikeout rate to stay above 30 percent and his walk rate to stay below 10 percent over the remainder of the season.
