Angel Pagan (groin) returns as Giants take on Dodgers
San Francisco Giants outfielder Angel Pagan (groin) is back in the starting lineup Tuesday versus the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Pagan is starting in left and hitting second Tuesday night against Dodgers right-hander Kenta Maeda. The 35-year-old veteran tweaked his groin while making a catch in the outfield Saturday versus the New York Mets, but managed to avoid any serious damage.
Pagan owns a .299/.353/.443 slash on the year with 8 home runs, 40 RBI's and 13 steals in 383 plate appearances. His .342 wOBA is the second-highest mark of his career (.359 in 2009).
