White Sox send Dioner Navarro to Blue Jays
The Toronto Blue Jays acquired catcher Dioner Navarro from the Chicago White Sox for left-handed relief pitcher Colton Turner.
Navarro returns to a Blue Jays organization that he spent the 2014 and 2015 seasons with. He'll provide substantial depth both behind the plate and at it for Toronto down the stretch.
The 32-year-old veteran is slashing .210/.267/.339 across 298 plate appearances this season, recording a .264 wOBA that is well below his .300 career average.
