Russell Martin out as Toronto takes on Tampa Bay
Toronto Blue Jays catcher Russell Martin is not in the lineup Wednesday afternoon against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Dioner Navarro will catch Blue Jays right-hander Marco Estrada and hit sixth versus Rays righty Alex Cobb. Martin, who knocked a two-run homer Tuesday night, is just taking a standard day of maintenance.
Martin is slashing .238/.335/.411 with 18 home runs and a .325 wOBA in 464 plate appearances this season.
