Blue Jays' Jesus Montero suspended 50 games for PEDs
Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Jesus Montero has been suspended 50 games by Major League Baseball for testing positive for dimethylbutylamine.
Once filled with potential and promise as a former top prospect for the New York Yankees, Montero's entire MLB future is filled with as much certainty as ever. He spent all of 2016 in the minors and will turn 27 in November.
Montero slashed .317/.349/.438 with 11 home runs and 60 RBI's in 126 games (518 plate appearances) at Triple-A Buffalo this season.
