Angel Pagan (back) still on Giants' sidelines in potential elimination Game 4
San Francisco Giants outfielder Angel Pagan (back) remains out Tuesday for Game 4 of the National League Divisional Series against the Chicago Cubs.
Back spasms forced Pagan to be a late scratch Monday night in Game 3, and Gregor Blanco will again replace him in left field on Tuesday for Game 4. Pagan might be available off the Giants' bench, but this is unknown.
Pagan has two singles and a double in 11 appearances at the plate this postseason. His 27.3 strikeout percentage is well above his 12.2 percent clip from the regular season.
