Dodgers find nothing structurally wrong with Scott Kazmir's hip
Los Angeles Dodger starting pitcher Scott Kazmir's MRI on his left hip came back negative.
Kazmir has had trouble getting loose all spring and was pulled from a spring training appearance on Monday after his hip tightened up. While there is nothing wrong with him structurally, the 33-year-old will need to continue to stretch out and work on his hip to avoid it tightening up on him again. There is no word on when he will take the mound again.
Kazmir struggled in his first season with the Dodgers, posting a 10-6 record with a 4.56 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, and a 3.4 BB/9 rate in 26 starts last year.
