Cam Bedrosian earns first save of season for Angels
Los Angeles Angels closer Cam Bedrosian turned in a flawless ninth inning Tuesday to protect a one-run lead against the Oakland Athletics.
On Monday, Angels manager Mike Scioscia was noncommittal about his closer situation while Huston Street (lat) is out, but it's likely Bedrosian's job to lose. Andrew Bailey could still see some ninth-inning opportunities on the occasion.
numberFire's models currently project Bedrosian for 15 more saves over the course of the season while recording a 3.35 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 25.3 strikeout percentage.
