Geovany Soto (elbow) lands on White Sox's disabled list
Chicago White Sox catcher Geovany Soto is on the 10-day disabled list with right elbow inflammation.
It's unknown whether or not Soto will be able to return to the active roster once eligible. Kevan Smith was called up from the minors in a corresponding roster move, so look for him and Omar Narvaez to split time behind the plate for the White Sox.
Soto is slashing .267/.389/.867 across 18 plate appearances (five games) to start the year with three taters and five RBI's.
