Braves' R.A. Dickey (quad) leaves start Thursday
Atlanta Braves starting pitcher R.A. Dickey was removed from his start Thursday against the New York Mets due to a left quad spasm.
Dickey allowed three runs -- two earned -- over five innings before his departure. If it's truly this minor, there's little chance he misses his next scheduled start.
Dickey's 4.40 SIERA is his best mark in this category since 2014, but his 15.7 percent strikeout rate is his second-lowest since 2011.
