Hunter Pence (hamstring) placed on the DL by San Francisco
The San Francisco Giants placed outfielder Hunter Pence on the 10-day disabled list, retroactive to May 13, with a left hamstring strain.
Pence missed this past weekend's three-game series against the Cincinnati Reds due to the left hamstring strain. He will now be out until May 24th at the earliest with Justin Ruggiano continuing to fill in for the outfielder.
Pence is batting just .243 with a .275 wOBA and three home runs in 149 plate appearances this season.
