Astros' Jandel Gustave (forearm) remains out indefinitely
Houston Astros reliever Jandel Gustave (forearm) remains shut down.
What It Means:
Gustave has been out the last month with a flexor strain and had a setback before when he tried to resume throwing. Obviously, he's not going to return anytime soon.
Our models project Gustave for a 4.80 ERA, 20.0 percent strikeout rate, and 9.2 percent walk rate in 15 innings pitched in the 2017 season.
