Tyler Danish will start Game 2 of Friday's doubleheader for Chicago
The Chicago White Sox will have pitcher Tyler Danish start Game 2 of their doubleheader on Friday against the Detroit Tigers.
Danish will be making his first career MLB start on Friday as the 22-year-old will be called up presumably as the White Sox 26th man on Friday. Danish has made three relief appearances in his career, all in 2016, tossing just 1 2/3 innings. Mike Pelfrey will start Game 1 for the White Sox.
Danish has made eight starts for Triple-A Charlotte this year, posting a 3.15 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, and just 23 strikeouts in 45 2/3 innings pitched.
