Jason Bourgeois back in leadoff spot for Reds on Tuesday
Cincinnati Reds outfielder Jason Bourgeois will bat leadoff again for the team on Tuesday when they face the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Bourgeois was moved down to the seventh spot in the order Monday as Skip Schumaker hit leadoff. Schumaker is out of the lineup Tuesday.
This appears to be turning into a platoon situation as Bourgeois gets to face the Dodgers' left-handed starter Alex Wood. Still, Bourgeois has a career 19.4 percent hard-hit rate against lefties. Despite the positive spot in the batting order, Bourgeois projects to be the fourth-lowest-scoring outfielder on the slate Tuesday.
