Vance Worley may start for Miami on Saturday
Miami Marlins pitcher Vance Worley is a candidate to start against the San Francisco Giants on Saturday.
The Marlins have a spot to fill in the rotation after designating Jeff Locke for assignment. As long as he's not used in relief on Friday, Worley appears to be the man. The 29-year-old right-hander has gone 0-2 in four starts so far this season. Chris O'Grady is another option for Miami.
Worley owns a 6.31 ERA, 1.52 WHIP, and 19.8 strikeout percentage in 25 2/3 innings (10 appearances) this season.
