Nationals call up Edwin Jackson for a start on Tuesday
The Washington Nationals have recalled starting pitcher Edwin Jackson from Triple-A and will have him start versus the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday.
Jackson is filling in for Joe Ross who was put on the disabled list last week. Tuesday will be Jackson's first MLB start of 2017, but the veteran pitcher has logged more than 275 starts in his 15-year career.
Our models project Jackson for 5 1/3 innings pitched, 3.3 strikeouts, and 2.8 runs allowed for 20.2 FanDuel points, all while costing just $5,700 on Tuesday.
