Pirates recall Steven Brault from Triple-A
The Pittsburgh Pirates recalled starting pitcher Steven Brault from Triple-A Indianapolis.
On Saturday, the Pirates placed outfielder Gregory Polanco on the DL with a hamstring injury. In the corresponding move, the Pirates added Brault to their pitching staff until Polanco's return.
The 25-year-old Brault started 7 games for the Pirates a year ago. This season, he is 8-4 with a 3.23 FIP in 17 starts at Triple-A.
