Scooter Gennett starting for Reds on Wednesday
Cincinnati Reds second baseman/outfielder Scooter Gennett is in Wednesday's starting lineup against the New York Yankees.
Gennett was held out of the starting lineup on Tuesday, but he's back on second base and batting second in today's matinée against right-hander Luis Severino and the Yankees. Arismendy Alcantara will return to Cincinnati's bench.
The Reds are significant underdogs and have one of the lowest implied totals on Wednesday's slate (3.46 runs), so they don't bring too much fantasy appeal this afternoon. numberFire's models project Gennett to score 11.7 FanDuel points at a cost of $3,400.
