Chris Flexen making major league debut for Mets on Thursday
New York Mets pitcher Chris Flexen will start on Thursday night against the San Diego Padres.
It's the first major league appearance of his career following the 23-year-old right-hander's call-up from Double-A Binghamton on Thursday. He twirled a fantastic 1.76 ERA and 27.2 strikeout percentage across 61 1/3 innings in the minors this season.
Flexen has a pitcher-friendly park factor (0.839) working in his favor tonight, but numberFire's models don't expect much, as we project him to score 20.1 FanDuel points at a cost of $6,000 versus San Diego.
