Padres could still hold on Brad Hand
The San Diego Padres could still hold on reliever Brad Hand, according to FanRag Sports' Jon Heyman.
What It Means:
Hand isn't a free agent until 2019, and offers haven't been to the Padres' liking so far, so there's a chance that the Padres carry him past this year's deadline.
In more than 28 innings, our models project Hand for a 1-1 record, 31 strikeouts and a 2.52 ERA the rest of the year.
