Jonathan Lucroy out for Rockies versus Braves
Colorado Rockies catcher Jonathan Lucroy is not starting on Thursday against the Atlanta Braves.
Ryan Hanigan will draw the start behind the plate for Colorado while Lucroy grabs a seat on the bench in today's series finale against right-hander Lucas Sims and the Braves. He went 2-for-4 with a couple of doubles, a walk, and 3 runs scored on Thursday, bringing his average up to .251 overall for the season (88 games).
numberFire's models project Lucroy to record a .270 batting average with 2 home runs, 12 RBI, and 12 runs scored in 122 plate appearances over the remainder of the year.
