Kelvin Herrera (arm) is ready to go Thursday in Kansas City
Kansas City Royals manager Ned Yost said pitcher Kelvin Herrera (forearm) is "ready to go" on Thursday.
Herrera felt some tightness in his forearm and wrist on Tuesday night against the Rockies. However, he was available on Wednesday, and he is also ready to pitch if called upon Thursday. While Herrera's ERA of 3.97 is unimpressive, he has converted 26 of his 29 save attempts this season.
Our models project Herrera to post an improved 3.17 ERA and 1.13 WHIP with 14 strikeouts and 6 saves over 14.2 innings remaining this season.
