Mets' Jeurys Familia (shoulder) activated from disabled list
The New York Mets will activate pitcher Jeurys Familia from the 60-day disabled list on Friday.
Familia is returning after having surgery in May to remove a blood clot in his shoulder. After pitching on back-to-back days earlier this week in a rehab assignment, he will pitch in lower-leverage innings this weekend.
