Mike Napoli (ankle) remains out Tuesday for Texas
Texas Rangers first baseman/designated hitter Mike Napoli is out of the lineup for a second straight game Tuesday against the Seattle Mariners.
Napoli has been bothered by soreness in his ankle, but there is no structural damage to speak of. So, it's not surprising that he took pregame batting practice and could be available later in the game tonight. For now, Ryan Rua will be at first with Joey Gallo moving to third for the Rangers.
Napoli has bombed 29 home runs with a .307 wOBA on the year with Texas. The Rangers' implied total of 5.92 runs is the highest of tonight's slate of games.
