Matt Szczur sitting Wednesday for San Diego
San Diego Padres outfielder Matt Szczur is out of the lineup for the club's Wednesday matchup with the Minnesota Twins.
On Tuesday, Szczur played left and hit eighth for the Padres. But, tonight, Szczur will be on the bench as Cory Spangenberg fields left and Hector Sanchez enters the lineup as the Padres' DH.
After an 0-for-3 night, we project Szczur for 6 hits, 3 RBI and a .250 average in 28 plate appearances the rest of the year.
