Chicago's Adam LaRoche out of Monday's lineup
Chicago White Sox first baseman/designated hitter Adam LaRoche is not in the White Sox' lineup Monday.
LaRoche has been battling right patella tendinitis over the last week, although he started Sunday's game. The Pale Hose have Avisail Garcia in the designated hitter spot and Trayce Thompson in right field Monday.
He's hitting a dreadful .211/.298/.347 with a .290 wOBA in his first season with the White Sox. The wOBA is the worst full-season mark of his career. He have him picking it up down the stretch with a .708 OPS and two bombs the rest of the way.
