Texas Rangers catcher Robinson Chirinos is not starting on Wednesday against the Houston Astros.
Brett Nicholas will catch right-hander Nick Martinez and bat eighth versus Astros righty Justin Verlander on Wednesday while Chirinos grabs a seat on the Rangers' bench.
