Barry Zito getting a spot start Saturday for Athletics
Oakland Athletics pitcher Barry Zito will start for the Athletics on Saturday against Tim Hudson and the San Francisco Giants.
Well, this is pretty cool. Mark Mulder will also be on hand for the start, and before the game the A's will honor their "Big Three" pitching trio from the early 2000s. Zito has battled a shoulder injury of late and hasn't started a game since 2013. Hudson has had injuries himself this season, but he has actually fared well of late with a 0.96 ERA in five appearances this month since returning from the disabled list.
