Angels sign Chris Carter to minor league contract
The Los Angeles Angels have signed first baseman Chris Carter to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
The Angels dealt C.J Cron to the Rays earlier in the day, and now they have added some first base depth with Carter. He didn't do much with the Yankees or Athletics last season, but he'll be nice depth if Luis Valbuena or Albert Pujols get hurt.
Carter averaged 7.2 FanDuel points per game in 2017.
