Report: Chris Tillman returning to Orioles
Free agent pitcher Chris Tillman will return to the Baltimore Orioles, according to FanRag Sports' Jon Heyman.
Tillman hit free agency this winter, but things didn't go as he had hoped. After a very poor 2017, Tillman chose the Orioles over signing minor league contracts with the Detroit Tigers and Toronto Blue Jays. The deal is reportedly for one year, worth $3 million. He will join the back end of the Orioles' rotation.
In 2017, Tillman went 1-7 with a 7.84 ERA and just 63 strikeouts over 93 innings of work.
