Cardinals' Luke Gregerson dealing with 'minor' oblique strain
St. Louis Cardinals reliever Luke Gregerson is currently suffering from a "minor" oblique injury, manager Mike Matheny told reporters.
This explains why Gregerson didn't make his scheduled Grapefruit League debut on Tuesday. He should be fine by Opening Day and is considered by some to be the clubhouse favorite for ninth-inning duties in 2018.
numberFire's models project Gregerson to record a 3.22 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and 25.8 strikeout percentage with 25 saves across 64 1/3 innings this season.
