Mets' Anthony Swarzak leaves Saturday's game with oblique injury
New York Mets reliever Anthony Swarzak left Saturday's game with a sore left oblique, reports The Athletic's Tim Britton.
Swarzak was holding his side as he left the game. If x-rays come back negative and he didn't suffer a strain, he should avoid the disabled list. But there's also a chance that the Mets will take it easy and play it cautious. On Saturday, he was replaced by Jeurys Familia in the top of the 8th.
Swarzak pitched 1 1/3 innings and finished with 2 strikeouts and a walk while allowing an earned run on a Matt Carpenter homer.
