Brett Anderson scheduled to start on Wednesday for Oakland
Oakland A's pitcher Brett Anderson is scheduled to pitch on Wednesday versus the Seattle Mariners.
Anderson is taking the rotation spot of Opening Day starter Kendall Graveman, who was an ERA of nearly 9.00 so far this year. Graveman was optioned to Triple-A, prompting the return of Anderson, who started his career in Oakland.
Anderson posted a 6.34 ERA and 1.70 WHIP with 38 strikeouts in 55 1/3 innings pitched in 2017 with the Chicago Cubs and the Toronto Blue Jays.
